Ordering from your table is designed to need as little about you as possible: no app, no account, no phone number.

What we keep when you order

• Your order — the dishes and drinks you send, the table they are for and when you sent them. The canteen keeps this as its record of sales.
• Your first name, if you give it — it is optional, and only used so our staff know whose order is whose.

We do not ask for your phone number, email address or payment details. You pay at the counter by M-Pesa, cash or card, the same as always.

What stays on your phone

Your browser remembers a random code for your phone, and the name you typed, so that a second round joins the same table. It is not linked to your identity. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Who handles it

TMC Canteen at Tayiba Medical Centre runs the canteen. The ordering system is provided by OrderFlow, which processes your order on the canteen's behalf. This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Its fonts are served by Google Fonts, which sees your device's IP address when it delivers them.

Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask what information we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Speak to a member of staff at the counter.
